Ingredients (15)

60.00 ml oil
2.00 onion — chopped
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
300.00 g beef mince — lean
410.00 g tomatoes — chopped
5.00 ml brown sugar
5.00 ml dried oregano
3.00 ml cumin — ground
15.00 ml Worcestershire sauce
250.00 ml stock — chilli beef
100.00 g savoury soya mince — chilli beef
410.00 g red kidney beans — tinned, drained
2.00 tomatoes — chopped
tortillas — to serve

Method:

1. Heat oil in a large saucepan and sauté onions and garlic until soft. Add mince and stir over high heat to brown.
2. Add canned tomatoes, sugar, origanum, cumin, Worcestershire sauce, stock and soya mince. Stir well to combine and bring to the boil. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Add beans and chopped tomatoes and simmer for a further five minutes.
Season to taste and serve wrapped in soft tortillas or with rice. Eat topped with spoonfuls of guacamole, cheese and sour cream.
