Chicken with fruit

  • seasoned cake flour

    fresh orange juice

    brown sugar

    brown vinegar

    peach slices

    medium potatoes, sliced


Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Clean the chicken portions and dust with the seasoned cake flour. Heat the oil in the pan and fry the chicken pieces until browned on both sides. Set aside. Mix the orange juice, sugar, vinegar and seasonings. Drain the peach slices and add the juice to the orange juice mixture. Mix well. Place the chicken portions in an oven dish and pour the liquid over. Arrange the potato slices between the chicken pieces. Cover the dish and bake for about an hour or until the potatoes and chicken are done. Arrange the peach slices alongside the chicken pieces and return to the oven for a few minutes.
