Chicken roll

  • 1
    chicken breast fillet, skinned and deboned, and halved lengthwise
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • braai spice
  • 1
    bread roll, halved
  • few pieces lettuce
  • plain yoghurt


Fry the chicken in a little oil until done. Season to taste with salt, black pepper and braai spice. Butter one half of the bread roll. Arrange the lettuce and fried chicken on top. Top with the other half of the roll. Serve with yoghurt and a salad made with cooked potato, bacon and watercress if desired.
