Ingredients (12)

MARINADE
90.00 ml soy sauce — dark
15.00 ml oil
0.00 lemon — halved, juice only
15.00 ml Chinese five-spice powder
15.00 ml honey
3.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
Kebabs
450.00 g chicken breast fillets
450.00 g pork fillet
300.00 g broccoli — broken into florets
1.00 red pepper — cubed
100.00 g baby corn — cut into 3
15.00 ml sesame seeds — toasted

Method:

Mix all the ingredients for the marinade.
Slice the chicken and pork into strips and place in separate bowls.
Place the vegetables in a third bowl.
Divide the marinade among the 3 bowls, ensuring everything is coated.
Marinate for 2 hours in the fridge.
Thread the meat strips onto separate skewers, alternating with the vegetables.
Braai until the meat is done and the vegetables are browned.
Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and serve with satay sauce.
