Ingredients (16)

MARINADE
125.00 ml lemon juice
2.00 ml fresh ginger
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
1.00 fresh chillies — deseeded and chopped
10.00 ml soy sauce
5.00 ml Worcestershire sauce
1.00 onion — large, grated
5.00 ml braai spice
2.00 ml chicken — spice
500.00 g chicken breast fillets — skinned, deboned
500.00 ml breadcrumbs — dried
125.00 ml sesame seeds
2.00 eggs — whisked
125.00 ml flour — cake
oil — for frying

Method:

Blend all the ingredients for the marinade and marinate the chicken cubes overnight.
Combine the breadcrumbs and sesame seeds. Place the eggs, flour and breadcrumb mixture in three separate shallow bowls. Dip the chicken cubes in the flour, then the egg and finally in the crumbs. Chill for 30 minutes.
Heat enough oil for shallow frying (about 3 mm deep) in a large frying pan and fry the chicken nuggets until golden brown on both sides and cooked inside.
Serve with lemon wedges, rice and chutney.
Serves 2-3.
