Remove skin and bones from chicken and cut into portions.Blend onions, garlic, ginger and pawpaw into a smooth paste.Mix in chilli powder and garum masala, add food colouring, salt and lemon juice.
Brush chicken pieces with
mixture and let it marinate overnight.Heat ghee or butter in a pan,
add marinated chicken and fry for1minute, pour remaining marinade over chicken, cover and simmer over low heat until chicken pieces are tender.Serve hot with rice.
