Ingredients (9)

150.00 g butter — soft
250.00 g cream cheese
3.00 savoury biscuits — crushed
50.00 g nuts of your choice — cashew or walnut
6.00 olives — black, pitted and chopped
6.00 sun-dried tomatoes — in oil, drained and coarsely chopped
sesame seeds — toasted
poppy seeds — toasted
fresh parsley — chopped

Method:

Ensure the butter and cream cheese are equally soft. Combine the two, mixing well. Fold the biscuits, nuts, olives and sun-dried tomatoes into the mixture. Spoon the mixture into a flat dish and chill until firm. Cut into squares and roll each square into a ball. Roll the balls in the sesame seeds and then in the poppy seeds and chopped parsley. Chill until firm. Serve with a selection of other cheeses and Melba toast, if desired. Makes about 30 truffles.
