Champion mushroom sauce

    butter

    button mushrooms, sliced
  • 30
    ml
    mushroom soup powder
  • 300
    ml
    cream
  • 0
    few drops Tabasco sauce or freshly ground black pepper

    salt to taste
 

Method

Heat the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and fry the mushrooms until brown. Stir in the mushroom soup powder and sauté for 1 minute. Gradually add the cream, stirring continuously, and simmer until the sauce thickens. Add more cream for a thinner sauce. Season with salt and Tabasco sauce or pepper.
