Cashew Camembert triangles

  • 150
    g
    breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • 75
    g
    chopped cashew nuts
  • 400
    g
    Camembert
  • 1
    egg, lightly beaten
 

Method

 
1. Mix the breadcrumbs, seasoning and nuts together. 2. Coat the Camembert (cut into 24 portions) in the egg and then in the crumb mixture. 3. Open freeze until solid, then pack in container, layering with freezer film. TO SERVE: Deep-fry from frozen for 8 minutes. Serve with redcurrant sauce for dipping. Makes 24.
