Carob and oat biscuits

    red cherries, chopped

    green cherries, chopped
  • 25

    sultanas, chopped
  • 30
    ml
    oil
  • 100
    g
    oats
  • 20
    ml
    carob powder
  • 50
    g
    flour
  • 10
    ml
    artificial sweetener
  • 1
    large egg, slightly beaten
 

Method

Grease and line a baking tin.
Combine cherries, sultanas, oil, oats, carob powder and flour.
Add artificial sweetener and egg, and mix well.
Place a round 7,5 cm biscuit cutter on a greased baking sheet and spoon two tablespoons of the biscuit mixture into the cutter. Flatten with a spoon.
Remove the biscuit cutter and repeat with the remaining mixture.
Bake at 180 °C for 15 to 20 minutes until the biscuits are firm.
