Ingredients (4)

4.00 apples — green, peeled and cored
50.00 ml raisins
150.00 g castor sugar
125.00 ml cream

Method:

Place the apples in a roasting pan with a little water. Fill the hole in the middle of the apples with the raisins and bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until soft. Place the sugar in a saucepan and heat gently without stirring until sugar melts and caramelises. Mix in the cream and beat with a spoon until sauce is smooth and creamy. Pour over the apples and serve immediately.
