    green apples, peeled and cored

Place the apples in a roasting pan with a little water. Fill the hole in the middle of the apples with the raisins and bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until soft. Place the sugar in a saucepan and heat gently without stirring until sugar melts and caramelises. Mix in the cream and beat with a spoon until sauce is smooth and creamy. Pour over the apples and serve immediately. Serves: 4 Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 40 minutes Oven temperature: 160 ºC
