Calamari on tagliatelle

    oil
  • 1
    large onion, peeled and finely chopped
  • 2
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3
    ml
    lemon pepper
  • 10
    ml
    paprika
  • 300
    g
    frozen calamari rings, thawed
  • 250
    ml
    natural yoghurt
  • 250
    ml
    sour cream
  • 5
    ml
    cayenne pepper
  • 200
    g
    shrimps in brine, drained (optional)
  • salt and pepper
  • 500
    g
    tagliatelle, cooked
  • grated Parmesan cheese, to garnish
 

Method

 
1. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry onion and garlic until soft. 2. Add lemon pepper, paprika and calamari and stir-fry for 1 minute. 3. Remove from heat and stir in yoghurt, sour cream, cayenne pepper and shrimps. Season to taste. Return to heat, simmer for 1 minute and then spoon over the pasta. 4. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese.
