Ingredients (9)

100.00 ml flour
25.00 ml Cajun spice
500.00 g kingklip — or hake, strips
100.00 ml oil
1.00 lettuce
1.00 avocado
1.00 onion — red or white, thinly sliced
0.00 parmesan cheese — shaved
0.00 mayonnaise — or tzatziki, to serve

Method:

Mix the flour and Cajun spice and coat the fish strips with it.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the fish in batches until golden and cooked through.
Arrange the fish on a plate with the salad ingredients and serve drizzled with mayonnaise or tzatziki.
Variation:Replace kingklip with 500 g calamari tubes or rings and coat in spice mix to amke the salad.
