Butternut and sweet potato sticks with croutons

    g
    butternut
  • 500
    g
    sweet potatoes
  • 60
    g
    butter
  • 3
    slices white bread
  • Oil for frying
  • 30
    ml
    honey
  • Sugar and cinnamon
 

Method

20 mins
 
Peel butternut and sweet potatoes and cut into chips. Boil or steam until just tender.Drain, add butter and mix lightly. Remove crusts from bread and cut into cubes. Fry croutons in hot oil, remove, place in abowl, spoon honey over and mix. Place butternut and sweet potatoes in a serving bowl. Top with croutons and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Serve warm.
