Butter icing

Ingredients

  • 100
    g
    soft butter
  • 500
    ml
    icing sugar
  • 25
    ml
    milk
  • 5
    ml
    vanilla essence
 

Method

 
1. Beat butter with an electric beater until light. Stir in icing sugar, milk and essence and beat well for at least five minutes, until smooth, creamy and light. Makes enough to ice a two layer 22 cm cake.
