Ingredients (4)

500.00 g biscuits — instant mix
250.00 g butter — or margerine
30.00 ml water — warm
TO DECORATE
glacé cherries — or chocolate sauce

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 ºC. Grease a baking sheet.
Place butter in a mixing bowl and cream until light and fluffy with a wooden spoon or electric beater.
Stir cookie mix into butter gradually, adding water to form a soft, pliable dough.
Shape dough to form a 5 cm diameter log. Cover and place in refrigerator until firm (about 1 hour).
Slice log into 0.5 cm pieces. Arrange on baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cookies are lightly brown in colour.
Cool before storing.
