    can
    butter beans
  • 1
    clove garlic – minced
  • Juice and zest of lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1
    very small chili – chopped
  • 60
    ml
    Extra Virgin olive oil
  • 1
    handful
    fresh basil
 

Method

Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blitz until the butter bean paté has the texture and consistency you like.

Taste and adjust seasoning. Spoon into a small bowl and drizzle with olive oil and serve with warm pita breads.
