Ingredients

  • Brownies:
  • 1/2
    cup
    cocoa
  • 2
    cup
    brown sugar
  • 1
    cup
    flour
  • 1/2
    cup
    butter
  • 4
    eggs
  • 2
    tsp
    vanilla essence
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1
    cup
    chopped nuts or a slab broken chocolate (optional)
  • Icing:
  • 1/2
    cup
    cocoa
  • 6
    Tbs
    butter
  • 1/3
    cup
    milk or cream
  • 1
    tsp
    vanilla essence
  • 2 1/2
    cup
    icing sugar
 

Method

40 mins
 
Brownies:
Put all the ingredients together in a bowl.
Mix together well.
Bake at 180 for 30 - 45 min until set (check at 30 min just in case).
Slice or break into blocks or pieces.

Icing:
Mix everything together until creamy. (Milk can be replaced with cream for a more decadent version).
