In a large pot, fry the bacon until crispy.
Remove from the pot and set aside.
Add the onions to the hot bacon fat and saute until golden and soft.
Add the broccoli and potatoes and heat through.
Pour in the stock, stir well and cover.
Simmer for +- 40 minutes or until potatoes are soft.
Add the milk or cream and blend until smooth.
Stir in the bacon and season with black pepper.
Keep some bacon aside to garnish.
