Bread rolls with cheese and nut filling

Ingredients (8)

125.00 g bacon — rindless
oil
65.00 ml mixed nuts — finely chopped
30.00 ml french salad dressing
6.00 bread — white or bread rolls
butter
lettuce — butter leaves
6.00 cheese — slices, cooked until crispy

Method:

Fry the bacon in a little oil until slightly crisp. Chop finely and mix with the nuts. Moisten with the salad dressing. Lightly butter the bread rolls and place a butter lettuce leaf inside each roll. Top with a slice of cheese and sprinkle with a little of the nut mixture. Serve while the bacon mixture is still warm.
Serves 4-6.
