  • 500
    g
    self-raising flour
  • 3
    ml
    salt
  • 100
    ml
    grated Cheddar cheese
  • 340
    ml
    can beer
  • 5
    ml
    chopped fresh herbs
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Sift the flour and salt together and stir in the cheese.
Add the beer, stirring until the ingredients are just mixed.
Scatter the herbs on top and turn the batter into four greased 410 g tins.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until done (they will sound hollow when tapped).
Serve with camembert cheese.
