Brandied bananas and bow ties

Ingredients (7)

125 ml sugar
65 ml water
6 bananas — sliced diagonally
30 ml brandy
30 ml butter
2 lime — zest and juice
6 bow ties

Method:

Place
the sugar and water in a pan and place on medium heat.
Allow sugar to
melt, stirring continuously.
Stir until the syrup boils.
Cook for 2
minutes then add the banana slices.
Toss lightly and then add the
brandy, butter, lime juice and zest.
Stir lightly and spoon over the bow
ties.
