115.00 g flour — wholewheat
85.00 g oatmeal
85.00 g butter — cold
85.00 g brown sugar
50.00 g mixed nuts
5.00 ml mixed spice — ground
400.00 g blueberries
350.00 g apples — peeled and cored
45.00 ml apple juice
45.00 ml honey

Method:

1. Mix flour and oatmeal in a bowl, then lightly rub in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar, nuts and mixed spice.
2. Put the blueberries and apples in an ovenproof dish. Mix together the apple juice and honey and pour over the fruit. Stir gently.
3. Spoon crumble mixture evenly over the fruit.
4. Bake in preheated 180 ºC oven for about 45 minutes, or until fruit is cooked and topping is golden brown and crunchy.
5. Serve hot or cold with custard or plain yoghurt.
