Blue cheese, cabbage, bacon and potato penne

    olive oil

    bacon
  • 3
    garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2
    baby cabbages, cut into quarters
  • 2
    large potatoes, diced and cooked
  • 250
    ml
    cream
  • 125
    g
    blue cheese, crumbled
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 400
    g
    penne, cooked al dente
 

Method

 
Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Add bacon and cook for a few minutes. Add garlic, cabbage and potatoes and cook until golden and crisp. Add cream, blue cheese and seasoning. Pour over hot pasta. Serves 4.
