Bircher muesli is a lovely creamy consistency of milk, oats and cinnamon for a hearty breakfast recipe.

Ingredients (7)

125 ml oats — raw
1 pinch cinnamon
125 ml milk — fat-free
100 ml yoghurt — fat-free plain or vanilla
1/2 apples — grated
50 g fresh berries
1 Tbs almonds — flaked, toasted

Method:

Mix oats, cinnamon and milk together.

Set aside for 15 minutes or overnight to allow oats to absorb milk.

Stir through yoghurt and grated apple.

Top with berries and almonds and serve.

Suggestions:
Replace berries with another ½ grated apple.
