Berry compote

Time 15 minutes plus standing time

Ingredients

  • 350
    g
    strawberries, hulled
  • 250
    g
    raspberries
  • 125
    g
    mulberries or booysen berries
  • 40
    g
    castor sugar
  • 150
    ml
    sweet white wine
 

Method

 
Halve any large strawberries and place them in a bowl with the other berries.
Add sugar and wine.
Toss together lightly, then cover and leave to stand in the fridge for 1 hour or longer.
