Berry and banana smoothie

A great way to cleanse your system after a hectic weekend.

Ingredients

 
  • 1/2
    banana - sliced
  • Handful of rolled oats
  • 1
    cup
    Bulgarian plain yoghurt – fat free
  • 1/2
    an apple - chopped
  • A handful of berries – I used strawberries
  • 1
    cup
    pure orange juice
  • 1
    Tbs
    honey
  • A handful of mixed nuts
Servings: Change Serving
 
 

Method

 
Place all of the ingredients in your blender.

Blend and serve!

Basic basil care
Basil wilts quickly, but will perk up when left in cool water for about 30 minutes. Then blot the leaves dry and store them at room temperature in a tightly sealed bag. If basil is stored in the refrigerator, it turns black.
