    beef strips
  • 30
    ml
    oil
  • 30
    ml
    soy sauce
  • 1
    red chilli, finely chopped
  • 10

    chopped lemon grass

    tagliatelle
  • 575
    g
    tomato, onion & garlic readymade pasta sauce
  • 3
    carrots, julienned
  • 125
    g
    fresh button mushrooms, sliced
  • 45
    ml
    freshly chopped basil
 

Method

30 minutes
 
1 Mix together the beef strips, oil, soy sauce, chilli and lemon grass and set aside for 10 minutes. 2 Boil pasta in sufficient water until cooked. Drain and toss in a little oil to prevent pasta from sticking together. 3 Heat a nonstick frying pan and add marinated beef. Stir-fry over high heat for 2 minutes, then add remaining ingredients. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve spooned over hot pasta. Serves: 4 Preparation time: 15 minutes, plus marinating time Cooking time: 30 minutes
