    beef topside
  • 65
    lemon juice
  • 60
    fish sauce
  • 15
    white sugar

    fresh red chillies chopped
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

    tomato, sliced into thin wedges
  • cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1
    onion, thinly sliced
  • 2
    stalks celery, finely chopped
  • 3
    chives, finely chopped
  • 2
    red peppers, sliced into strips
  • 375
    lettuce broken into pieces
  • fresh coriander leaves


Grill the topside until just done and slice thinly. Mix the lemon juice, fish sauce and sugar. Add the chilli and season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix all the vegetables, except the lettuce. Add the beef and sauce to the vegetables and mix. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a serving platter and spoon the vegetable mixture on top. Garnish with coriander leaves.
