Beef or chicken satay

Time 25 minutes plus marinating

Ingredients

  • 60
    ml
    light soy sauce
  • 10
    ml
    chilli sauce
  • 10
    ml
    finely chopped lemongrass
  • 500
    g
    fillet of beef or chicken, cut into thin strips
  • peanut sauce, to serve (see vegetables with peanut sauce recipe)
 

Method

5 minutes
 
1. Mix soy sauce, chilli sauce and lemon grass and pour onto meat. Leave to marinate for one hour. 2. Thread meat onto wooden skewers. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes on each side under a preheated grill, brushing with the remaining marinade. Serve with peanut sauce.
