Beef fillet with a mango and sweet chilli sauce

  • black pepper
  • olive or grape seed oil

    beef fillet, cut into thick slices of 2.5cm each.
  • salt
  • 1
    mango, peeled and cubed into small blocks
  • 80
    sweet chilli sauce
  • fresh rocket leaves

Heat a frying pan and ground some black pepper coarsely into the pan. Cook for 1 minute. Add some oil and heat until very hot.
Put the fillet steaks into the pan and fry for approximately 3 minutes on each side (or longer according to taste). Season to taste with salt.
Mix the mango and sweet chilli sauce and set aside till required.
Place some rocket leaves on a serving plate and put the cooked fillet steaks on top. Serve with the sweet chilli sauce and baby potatoes or French fries.
