Beef and bean stir-fry

    cloves garlic, sliced

    red chillies, sliced
  • 2

    minced ginger

    beef strips
  • 500
    ml
    young green beans, cut into chunks
  • 1
    lemon, juice
  • 60
    ml
    beef stock
  • 2
    ml
    sugar
  • salt and milled pepper to taste
  • chopped fresh basil for garnish
 

Method

 
Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan. Add garlic, chillies and ginger and stir-fry for 1 minutes. Add beef, toss to sear briefly and add beans. Stir-fry for 1 minute and add remaining ingredients, except basil. Stir-fry until cooked, 4 to 5 minutes. Garnish with basil and serve with Chinese noodles, and soy sauce on the side.
