Beans with tomato sauce

    olive oil
  • 20
    ml
    butter
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 1
    can chopped tomatoes
  • 10
    ml
    vinegar
  • 800
    g
    green beans, trimmed
  • 30
    ml
    freshly chopped parsley
 

Method

20 minutes
 
Heat the olive oil and butter in a saucepan.
Sauté the onion for two minutes.
Add the bay leaves, tomatoes and vinegar, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Add the beans, cover and simmer for five minutes or until tender.
Stir in the parsley and season to taste.
