Bean and corn soup (Isophu)

  • 500
    ml
    sugar beans
  • 500
    ml
    fresh corn off the cob
  • 10
    ml
    salt
  • 1
    Litres
    water
 

Method

 
Bring water to the boil, add sugar beans, corn and salt. Reduce heat and simmer gently for two hours, adding water when necessary. Cook until beans and corn are soft.
