Basil and spinach pesto

    fresh basil, shredded
  • 60
    g
    spinach leaves, shredded
  • 30
    g
    pine nuts
  • 4
    cloves garlic
  • 150
    ml
    olive oil
  • 5
    ml
    lemon juice
  • 5
    ml
    grated lemon rind
  • hot, cooked and drained pasta of your choice
  • Parmesan cheese, to serve
 

Method

 
1. Place all ingredients in a liquidiser. Blend until smooth. Stir into hot, drained pasta. Sprinkle with shaved Parmesan cheese.
