Ingredients (6)

135 ml butter
140 ml cocoa powder
2 eggs — large
230 ml castor sugar
275 ml flour — self-raising
60 g dark chocolate — chopped

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Melt the butter. Remove from the heat and stir in the cocoa.

Beat the eggs until light, add the sugar and beat well. Stir in the cocoa mixture. Sift in the flour and fold in, along with the chocolate.

Pour into a greased and lined 20cm square tin. Bake in a pre-heated oven for 25 minutes or until cooked through but still moist.

Cool and cut into squares. Dust with icing or extra cocoa powder.
