Ingredients (7)

600.00 g flour — cake
5.00 ml salt
100.00 g sugar
15.00 g Superbake Instant Yeast
100.00 g margarine
2.00 eggs
200.00 ml milk

Method:

1. Sift the flour, salt and sugar into a large mixing bowl. Mix in the yeast.
Rub margarine into the dry ingredients. Beat eggs and milk to combine and stir into the flour mixture to form a moist dough.
2. Turn out on a floured surface and knead until the dough becomes smooth and elastic, adding extra flour if the dough is too sticky. Cover with plastic wrap and leave in a cool place to rise for 6 to 8 hours. Punch dough down, roll, shape and fill as desired.
Makes 1 kg.
