  • CRUST
  • 200
    g
    ginger biscuits, crushed
  • 60
    g
    butter, melted
  • FILLING
  • 190
    ml
    butter
  • 200
    ml
    castor sugar
  • 380
    g
    Nestlé Caramel Treat
  • 3
    bananas
  • lemon juice
  • 150
    ml
    cream, stiffly whisked
 

Method

 
Spray a 26 cm pie dish with non-stick spray. Mix the ginger cookies and butter for the crust and press along the sides and on the bottom of the pie dish. Chill until needed. Melt the butter and add the castor sugar. Stir until the sugar has dissolved and add the caramel condensed milk. Stir until well blended. Pour into the prepared crust and chill until set. Slice the bananas and arrange on top. Sprinkle with a little lemon juice and use a piping bag to decorate with cream rosettes. Chill before serving. Makes a large tart.
