Bananas in pistachio syrup

  • 125
    g
    soft brown sugar
  • 125
    ml
    water
  • 4
    bananas, peeled
  • 25
    g
    pistachio nuts, chopped
 

Method

 
Place sugar and water in a glass microwaveproof bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 5 to 6 minutes. Add bananas to the syrup and microwave on HIGH for 1 1/2 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream and pistachio nuts.
