Ingredients (8)

125.00 g butter
160.00 g castor sugar
2.00 eggs — large, slighly beaten
250.00 ml banana — mashed
245.00 g flour — self-raising
5.00 ml Bicarbonate of soda
250.00 ml yoghurt — natural
100.00 g dark chocolate — melted

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 ºC. Beat the butter and sugar together until light. Add egg, a little at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in banana, then fold in flour and bicarbonate of soda alternately with the yoghurt. Stir until well combined.
Pour into 2 small greased and lined loaf tins or 1 large greased and lined loaf tin and bake in the oven for 50 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Cool in tin. Remove from tin, then drizzle with melted chocolate. Makes 2 small loaves (19 x 9,5 cm) or 1 large loaf (22,5 x 11 cm).
