Banana puff pastry rounds

Ingredients

  • 400
    g
    readymade puff pastry
  • 200
    ml
    caramel treat (caramel-flavoured condensed milk)
  • 2
    firm bananas, thinly sliced
  • 60
    ml
    brown sugar
  • honey, for drizzling
 

Method

12 to 15 minutes
 
Roll out the pastry onto a lightly floured surface.
Cut out 8 cm diameter circles using a scone or cookie cutter.
Place the rounds on greased baking trays.
Spread the caramel on each round and top with a few banana slices.
Sprinkle a little brown sugar over each one and bake the rounds in a preheated 200 °C oven for 12 to 15 minutes until they are puffed and golden.
Drizzle with a little honey just before serving.
