Baked ricotta and salad

  • 2
    Tbs
    chopped chives
  • 1
    Tbs
    Woolies Italian herb mix
  • 1
    Tbs
    tamarind paste
  • Dash of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Salad ingredients of your choice
  • Olive oil to dress
  • Balsamic vinegar to dress
 

Method

Crumble ricotta in a bowl and add the chives, herbs, tamarind paste, olive oil, salt and pepper
Slightly oil a ramekin and push the Ricotta mixture into it. Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes.
Arrange your favourite salad ingredients on a plate, carefully turn out the baked Ricotta and lightly season salad and ricotta with olive oil and good balsamic vinegar.
