Baked goat's milk cheese

  • 1
    ripe tomato, peeled, seeded and roughly chopped
  • 1
    small clove of garlic, peeled and finely chopped or crushed
  • 60
    ml
    cream
  • salt and milled black pepper
  • 1
    small fresh goat's milk cheese, halved horizontally
 

Method

 
Spoon chopped tomato into a soup plate and place cheese on top. Spoon cream over cheese and tomato. Sprinkle garlic and seasoning over and bake at 180-200 ºC for about 10 minutes. Serve immediately. Sauce should be bubbling and cheese lightly browned.
