Baked cheese salad with jammy apples

  • 250
    ml
    ricotta
  • 125
    ml
    Gorgonzola or blue cheese, crumbled
  • 2
    apples, cored and quartered
  • 125
    ml
    maple syrup
  • 125
    ml
    pine nuts, lightly toasted
 

Method

Preheat the oven to 180° C. Mix together the cheeses and spoon into a bowl. Bake for 15 minutes. In the meantime, cook the apples in the maple syrup until sticky and soft. Turn the cheese out onto a plate, spoon around the apples and scatter over the toasted nuts.
