Baked beans and Russian sausages

    Russian sausages
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • oil for frying
  • 400

    tomatoes, chopped
  • 5

    ground cumin (jeera)
  • chopped parsley
  • salt, pepper and sugar to taste

    baked beans in tomato sauce
 

Method

 
Slice Russian sausages and fry slowly with the chopped onion until the latter is tender. Add the tomatoes with the juice, cumin and chopped parsley, black pepper and sugar to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes, stir in the baked beans and simmer for another 10 minutes. Serve on mashed potatoes.
