Baked Camembert with summer berries

  • 125
    g
    Camembert cheese
  • 500
    g
    mixed fresh berries
  • 125
    ml
    berry liqueur, like crème de cassis
  • sugar to taste
 

Method

 
Slice top off cheese, put it back loosely on top of cheese and bake at 200 ºC for about 15 minutes. Place berries, liqueur and sugar in a saucepan and simmer for about 2 minutes. Cool slightly and divide between 2 dessert bowls. To serve, halve cheese and place each half on top of poached berries in bowls. Serve dessert with water biscuits or sweet biscuits, if desired.
