Baked camembert with walnut praline topping

Ingredients

  • 3x125
    g
    Camembert cheeses
  • 50
    g
    walnuts, toasted
  • 150
    g
    sugar
  • 3
    Tbs
    water

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Place the cheeses on a lined baking tray. Bake for 8–10 minutes.

Add the sugar and water to a saucepan. Over a low heat, stir until the sugar has melted. Increase the heat and bring the mixture to a boil – don’t stir the mixture again.

Cook for an additional 6–8 minutes or until the sugar turns a caramel colour. Sprinkle the nuts over the baked cheeses and pour over the caramel mixture, coating the nuts.

To serve:

Serve warm with slices of soft bread.
