Ingredients (6)

5.00 bacon — rashers
1.00 onion — finely chopped
200.00 g mushrooms — thinly sliced
12.00 puff pastry
0.00 feta cheese — crumbled
0.00 mozzarella cheese — diced

Method:

Chop the bacon rashers and fry with onion until done.
Add finely sliced mushrooms and fry until done.
Preheat the oven to 220 °C and lightly grease a baking sheet with oil or non-stick spray.
Cut out eight to 10 puff pastry squares (5 cm each) and prick with a fork.
Fold the edges over to form a hollow in the centre.
Bake for seven to eight minutes or until puffed out.
Spoon a little of the filling in each pastry shell.
Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on half the squares and diced mozzarella cheese on the remaining squares.
Bake for five to six minutes or until the cheese has melted. Serve lukewarm.
