Ingredients (9)

500.00 ml flour — cake
7.50 ml Baking powder
2.50 ml Bicarbonate of soda
2.50 ml salt
180.00 ml sugar
2.00 eggs
125.00 ml avocado — mashed
250.00 ml Buttermilk
125.00 ml pecan nuts — chopped

Method:

Oven temperature: 180°C
1. Grease a bread tin of about
23 x 12cm with butter and
line the bottom with greased
baking paper.
2. Sift the cake flour, baking powder,
bicarbonate of soda and salt in a
mixing dish and add the sugar.
3. Beat the eggs, avocado and
buttermilk together and add to
the dry ingredients.
4. Stir the pecan nuts into the
mixture and pour into the prepared
bread tin. Bake for 45-60 minutes or
until a skewer comes out clean.
Makes: 1 loaf of bread
