Ingredients (8)

1.00 onion — small, chopped
15.00 ml butter
30.00 ml mayonnaise
1.00 eggs — yolks only, lightly beaten
125.00 g camembert cheese — grated
10.00 asparagus
10.00 bread — rye, sliced
paprika

Method:

Sauté the onion in the butter until soft. Cool slightly and blend with the mayonnaise and egg yolk. Add the finely grated cheese and mix.
Place an asparagus spear on each slice of bread and spoon a little of the cheese mixture over it. Turn on the oven grill and place the snacks beneath it. Grill until the cheese has just melted. Sprinkle with a little paprika if desired and serve immediately.
Makes 10 cheezas.
